Our security certification could save you time and money

CITEC’s recent certification to AS/NZS 7799 for Information Security Management Systems could save your organisation time and money. How?
Many companies approach CITEC with a request to conduct their own audits of our systems and processes, to verify that CITEC has appropriate security management practices in place.
Regular third party auditing of CITEC’s Information Security Management System (ISMS) is a mandatory requirement of our ongoing certification to AS/NZS 7799.
These ongoing audits, conducted by specialist auditors from SAI Global, are designed to ensure that CITEC’s ISMS continues to evolve in line with customer and business requirements.
SAI Global Limited’s Chief Executive, Ross Wraight said SAI Global would audit CITEC’s data centres every six months and all CITEC sites every 12 months.
“These independent audits will verify that CITEC is continuing to maintain an ISMS which ensures the confidentiality, integrity and availability of its customers’ information and systems,” Ross said.
“The audits also provide CITEC with an opportunity to continually improve its systems and security management practices, in line with changing customer requirements and emerging industry trends.”
CITEC’s first audit since achieving certification to AS/NZS 7799 will take place in November, when its high security data centres in Brisbane and Sydney once again go under the scrutiny of SAI Global auditors. All CITEC sites are scheduled for an audit by SAI Global in July 2005.
