Conference participation acknowledges industry importance
6 December 2007
A client sales team from CITEC Confirm attended the Queensland Law Society's full day Property Law Conference 2007 in Brisbane in late November.
CITEC Confirm is a business supporter of the society, which represents thousands of key decision-makers in small to large legal practices throughout the state.
Keynote speakers included Urban Development Institute of Australia Chief Executive and General Counsel, Brian Stewart, and Queensland University of Technology Gadens Professor in Property Law, Professor Sharon Christensen.
The conference was endorsed by the Real Estate Institute of Queensland and the Law Council of Australia.
The legal industry makes up a substantial percentage of CITEC Confirm’s client base in Queensland.
“Conveyancing is without a doubt one of the most important market segments for information brokerage in this part of the world,” said CITEC Confirm Principal Business Development Manager for Queensland, Mike Moesbergen.
“Our current product suite provides an extensive range of services to meet the needs of our legal industry clients.
“In September last year we became a QLS Business Supporter, a smart move that gives us a direct link to more than 6000 legal professionals throughout the state.
“Our strong showing at this conference is further evidence of our ongoing commitment to the legal industry in Queensland.”
About 150 delegates attended the conference.
