Another milestone for CITEC Confirm with Supreme Court of Victoria eFiling
30 September 2007
CITEC Confirm celebrated its service to all three Victorian Court jurisdictions with an executive briefing at the Supreme Court of Victoria Registry office on September 26.
The briefing focussed on the introduction of eFiling for the Supreme Court of Victoria, the latest phase in the Victorian Integrated Courts Management System (ICMS) project which aims to create a central portal and case list management system for all courts and tribunals in Victoria.
The Supreme Court of Victoria eFiling service will streamline the business processes of law firms.
"It is expected that the eFiling service for the Supreme Court will process more than 60,000 transactions," CITEC Managing Director Tony Skippington said.
"The service is centred on innovation, best practice and leverages skills developed in Queensland."
CITEC Managing Director Tony Skippington joined representatives from the Supreme Court of Victoria, Victorian Department of Justice, pilot law firms and stakeholders from a number of law firms at the briefing.

Attending the briefing at the Supreme Court of Victoria Registry office were (left to right) CITEC Confirm General Manager Peter Buchan, CITEC Managing Director Tony Skippington, Victorian Supreme Court Principal Registrar Peter Washington, Victorian Supreme Court Registry CEO Michael McGarvie and Master Melissa Daly.
