Faster search times and lower costs result from refresh
09 December 2009
Smart changes to CITEC Confirm's Australian Securities and Investment Commission (ASIC) and Business Names search products can reduce the potential for costly operator errors.
Released today as part of a sweeping technology refresh, the changes include the addition of a ‘Verify’ function that allows clients to check the accuracy of data before committing to buying a search extract.
“Our changes are designed to reduce the opportunity for error, allowing clients to exercise tighter control over their spending,” said CITEC Confirm Executive Director Peter Buchan.
“Many of our larger clients put through multiple searches at the one time using the Organisational Multi-search feature, renamed Organisational Extracts Search as part of our refresh.
“These clients will experience the same functionality as before, except that we’ve added the Verify function. This function will provide them with summaries of the companies they are searching for prior to making their purchase.”
Mr Buchan said changes had also been made to the way clients navigate through the products.
“Our goal is to help our clients slash the time they currently spend on searching as well as helping them exercise tighter financial control,” he said.
“For example, we’ve streamlined the number of screen transitions and reduced the number of mouse clicks required to achieve a result.
“Results and confirmation pages will be available as PDFs. These will be stored in the CITEC Confirm Inbox for 30 days, except for New South Wales Business Names Extracts where there is a seven-day limit.
“Clients can also opt to have results and confirmation pages emailed.”
The technology refresh is the culmination of intensive research and development, according to Mr Buchan.
“We’ve gone to great lengths to develop a new technology and client service standard, based largely on client feedback,” he said.
As with all CITEC Confirm products, ASIC and Business Names is supported by the 24 hours a day, seven days a week (24x7) Customer Support Hotline team, and interactive training and demonstrations are also available.
