Control your searches with CITEC Confirm's customisation capability

One of CITEC Confirm’s major advantages is its ability to be customised to suit each client’s needs, giving the client greater control over the way in which searches are accessed and conducted.
Features of the CITEC Confirm interface which can be customised include the menu of searches available, the types of searches individuals can access, and if single or multiple log-ons are used.
Unlike some of its competitors, the CITEC Confirm interface can be customised at a service level, such as Queensland Land Titles, and then at a search level within the service level, such as searching on title by title reference, or by owner name.

“Access controls assigned to each employee can be changed instantly by an authorised administrator on the client side, ensuring the interface is responsive to changing employee and organisational requirements.
“By providing clients with the ability to create individual log-ons for each employee, organisations can clearly see search activity against employees, and this helps with cost control.
“By using their own unique password to log-on, employees also have the ability to sort the drop-down menu by the most commonly used searches, which improves productivity and ease of use.
“The client’s ability to tailor the log-on page to only include searches relevant to the organisation, makes a user-friendly system even easier to use.”
Real life example
The State Penalties Enforcement Registry (SPER) of the Department of Justice and Attorney-General is a CITEC Confirm client which has realised a range of benefits by customising its search interface.
Staff in SPER’s Investigation and Enforcement Unit conduct various searches via CITEC Confirm to take enforcement action on overdue fines, on behalf of other state and local government agencies.
SPER’s Application Administrator, Jo Phillips, said unit staff were restricted in the types of searches they could access.
“The ability to customise this aspect of the interface is important for us, because it ensures security and privacy measures are adhered to,” Jo said.
“It also helps us manage our search costs more effectively, because we have ready access to information for reporting and analysis.”
Rhonda Cunningham says mid-to-large sized organisations have the most to gain by customising their CITEC Confirm interface.
“However, this feature is available to all our clients at no cost,” she said.
