At CITEC Confirm we believe that our customers should be at the centre of everything we do.

So, when we decided to redevelop our Qld Traffic Incidents Reports service, we focused on what our customers wanted – easy to use, accessible services.

Why make changes?

We received feedback in our customer survey that some users found our search screens confusing and difficult to follow. As a result of this feedback we’re upgrading elements of the Confirm website over the coming months, including Qld Traffic Incident Reports.

How we’re doing things differently using human centred design

Human centred design is essentially the process of designing for people, by considering their needs and perspective throughout the design and development process. During the design process, we’ve consulted with our customers, industry bodies and Queensland Police to ensure that the service design considers the business and procedural requirements for the use and access of this information, and best practice for user experience.

What will the new system look like?

The new Qld Traffic Incidents Reports service has been designed to be easy to use with feedback provided onscreen as you enter your search criteria. Only the information needed to complete the search is displayed.
