As part of our ongoing service improvement, we’ve made some changes to our QLD land searches.

New Street Address Search

The QLD Land Searches menu now provides access to a new Title Search by Street Address. This new search has been designed to speed up the title discovery process and reduce the possibility of errors.

The new Street Address Search introduces plenty of helpful features, including a new service that suggests verified Queensland street addresses in real-time as the user types. The search input can refined so that the best possible search criteria may be entered, ensuring the best possible matches are returned.

The new search interface also features an updated look and feel, designed to reduce the number of steps required to obtain a result. After the initial browse search is performed, a list of addresses are displayed, sorted by best match. It’s easy to download a PDF summary of these matches or simply order the titles required from this list.

The list of addresses will contain the following details:

  • Title Reference
  • Title Status
  • Title Description
  • Primary Address
  • Alias Address
  • Lot on Plan
  • Owner Name
  • Search match percentage

Changes to QLD Valuation and Sales

The QLD Valuation and Sales service will be decommissioned later this year. As a result, the four searches currently offered under this menu – Address, Owner Name, Property and Sales – will no longer be available.

Now is a good time for our clients to familiarise themselves with the new Street Address Search, before the QVAS searches are removed. While the new search provides Owner Name and Address details, there is unfortunately no planned replacement for the existing QVAS Property and Sales searches.

To make this transition as smooth as possible, our clients should ensure any custom links or bookmarks to the QVAS service are updated before the finalised date of decommission. From that date, the service links from both the Main Menu and the QLD Land Lot/Plan detail section of the QLD Land Searches menu will be redirected to a decommission screen until their eventual removal.

Moving Forward

All these changes have been designed with our client’s feedback in mind, to produce a user-friendly service perfect for fast-paced workers. More news on the QVAS decommission will be released on the Confirm website closer to the finalised dates.
