What can I do through Qld Magistrates Court eFiling?
Our Qld Magistrates Court eFiling system allows eligible clients to electronically file court documents through all Magistrates Courts in Queensland.
All valid claims you eFile are transmitted in real-time and automatically deemed filed in the Queensland Magistrates Court.
How do I access Qld Magistrates Court eFiling?
To receive access to this system, you must be one of the following:
- legal practitioner
- licensed commercial agent
- eligible self-represented plaintiff/applicant.
Individuals can access Qld Magistrates Court eFiling as a self-represented plaintiff/applicant. If you’re an individual wishing to eFile, we recommend you refer to the applicable rules under the Uniform Civil Procedure Rules 1999 (Qld).

What documents can I eFile in the Qld Magistrates Court?
- Claims
- Requests for Default Judgment
- Applications for Enforcement Hearing Summons
You can only lodge a Request for Default Judgment against a Defendant if the claim was initiated from within our system.
What are the hours of operation for the Qld Magistrates Court?
You can access CITEC Confirm’s Queensland eFiling system 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Registry hours are 8.30am to 4.30pm, Monday to Friday (AEST).
You can only successfully lodge documents during registry hours. If you try to lodge a document after the closing time of the corresponding registry, it will be processed the next business day and stamped accordingly. For example:

What can I do through Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal (QCAT) eFiling?
Our QCAT eFiling system allows eligible clients to electronically file court documents through all tribunals within Queensland.
How can I access QCAT eFiling?
To receive access to this system, you must be one of the following:
- legal practitioners
- licensed commercial agents
- eligible self-represented plaintiffs/applicants.
Individuals are not eligible to access QCAT eFiling.
For entities seeking approval to access eFiling, supporting documents are required to prove that the entity has a currently registered business name, is currently registered as a company, or is appropriately licensed.
Examples of supporting documents include a current ASIC business names extract or company extract, or a current licence signed by the appropriate authority.
If you’d like to access CITEC Confirm’s QCAT eFiling system, please send a request to our Customer Service Centre via email or post.
The request should include your:
- business name
- business type
- primary contact information
- reason for access
- any supporting documents.

How do profiles work in the Qld Court eFiling system?
Profiles are templates, which you can use to reduce repeated data entry when completing online lodgements.
You can create profiles under the following categories:
- representative
- plaintiff/applicant
- defendant/respondent
- relief claimed
- precedent
- server
- deponent.
How can I track my current eFiling documents?
You can track current eFiling documents through Manage: Documents on the eFiling menu.
Filtering is available by:
- your reference
- claim number
- plaintiff
- defendant
- status date
- status
- type.
How can I clone a document?
You can clone documents through Manage: Documents on the eFiling menu.
Copying existing documents allows you to reduce data entry and streamline eFiling of documents that you lodge regularly.
How can I access my search receipt?
You can access your search receipt:
- on the filing confirmation screen after a successful lodgement
- via Documents on the eFiling menu.
Search receipts are available to download for 2 years following lodgement.
How do I get started with bulk eFiling?
If you need to lodge many documents, you can use our bulk eFiling service.
Our service allows you to import hundreds of documents from a specially formatted XML file. To create a valid XML file, you need to refer to our Bulk upload guide.

What happens when I close a matter through your court eFiling service?
It simply closes the matter within the CITEC Confirm eFiling application.
To discontinue the matter at the Magistrates Court/QCAT, you will need to file the appropriate documents with the Court or Tribunal.
What should I do if I need to upload several supporting documents?
Our system only accepts one PDF file, so you will need to combine the files before uploading them.
