What information will I get from a name search?
The name search will return a summary list of registered names/organisation names based on your search criteria. You may perform a name search on an individual or an organisation name.
Where possible, a search may return details such as:
- registered name/organisation name
- street address
- title reference
- parcel identifier
- other related searches.

What search criteria should I use for a name search?
- For an individual name search, enter a surname and given name, for example Smith, John.
- For an organisation name search, enter an organisation name, for example ABC Company.
Why does the name I am searching for not appear in the list of search results?
It may not appear for the following reasons:
- Some names may return many results. In this instance, you may need to refine your search criteria.
- The name on the title may differ from the name you’ve searched for.
What information will I get from an address search?
The address search will provide a summary of properties matching your search criteria, including where available:
- street address
- title reference
- parcel identifier
- other related searches.

What search criteria should I use for an address search?
Enter your reference, street details, suburb and your email (optional).
When entering a suburb, you can enter (at least) the first three letters. Then, click ‘Select Suburb’ to browse suburbs that match these letters.
How long should it take for results to return?
Results are available immediately online.
How do I view the results?
Results display on-screen and are also available from the CITEC Confirm inbox for 30 calendar days.
